99 w/ TCS and M/T

99 w/ TCS and M/T

is it possiable?? Does anyone have or have seen a Max with both of them?

TCS is only available on the automatics

Yeah I figured that, But I'm looking to swap from a A/T to a M/T and wanted to know if it still could have TCS

Thats a very good possibility. The TCS system uses the same wheel speed sensors as the ABS system to get it's information. When it detects wheel spin, the TCS system cuts fuel to throttle down the engine. It's got nothing to do with the tranny so a swap from Auto to Manual shouldn't interfear with the TCS system.

Right that why I was thinking of keeping both M/T and TCS. But I see from the ABS / TCS module wiring that it get a 2 wire signal from the ECU and I'm not sure if that's gonna be a problem with switching to a M/T ECU. I know keeping to A/T ECU will trip codes.
