How about a set of brand-new, Tokico Illuminas AND Tein H-techs for $600 shipped?

Serious inquiries only.

When you factor in the cost of the Tein H-techs and free shipping for all of it, I think you'll find that my price is competitive...and reliable. Some of these dealers on eBay are not. It took me three tries -- and filing several formal complaints -- before I got one to actually sell and ship me the right set of Teins for the advertised price.

I paid more for these than for what I am asking, and they are all in sealed boxes that have never been opened.

Ask around and you will also learn that the Tein H-techs are hard to find. Dealers will claim that they have them in stock...until after you buy them, that is. It took me three months to get mine, believe it or not.

In the end, you might think your saving yourself a few bucks by buying a set off of eBay, but how many eBay dealers offer a 30-day, money-back guarantee? How many are members of this forum, too?

I've got buyers for both the Tokicos and the Teins as separate items, but I want to sell the set and save myself the extra shipping costs by having to sell them separately.

Basically, you'll find that you get what you pay for.

^^^^^^ That's the cheapest you'll find anywhere. That's where I got mine, $408. shipped, not that's something to get about.

Everyone and his mother are selling S-Techs. They're as plentiful as love bugs in late August. The same cannot be said for the H-techs which are like July snowstorms.

The Tein S-Techs have a 2.2" front 1.7" rear drop. The ride is said to be fairly rough. S-Techs also are a lot cheaper than H-techs, anywhere from $25 to $40 cheaper.

By comparison, The H-Techs have a 1.6" front and 1.2" rear drop. These compare to the H&R's in comfort and handling characteristics. Slightly lower drop in the front. Spring rate is 179 lbs/in front and 252 lbs/in rear.

BTW, you can read all about the different type of springs available at http://maxmods.dyndns.org/index.php?MaximaSprings

The cheapest I've seen for the H-Techs (from a reputable dealer) is $194.95 shipped, WHEN they have them in stock.

BTW, I'm selling them for $192 shipped.

I know about the white max and illuminas, no white wheels (yet). Thinking about G35 17"s. Illumina's rock!

It's like that with just about everything...except real estate and Sony Home Theatre systems. I don't know why Sony hasn't lowered their prices in the last two years...

okie... so of course its my car, my ride, and i know harder springs, less body roll and vice versa, but what would you guys do?

right now im leaning towards getting harder springs so that with the illuminas i can at least soften the ride up a little, but still have a very stiff ride...
anyone see any problems that might arise ?
