Size of nut for rotor?

I'm changing my brakes and I have everything off, but I don't have the right socket for the nut that holds the rotor on. I looked in the stickies and went to motorvate but still can't find anything.

Thanks in advance!

There are no nuts holding the rotor on... assuming you have the caliper off and the torque member off, just give the rotor a few hard whacks with a rubber mallet or piece of 2x4 and it will pop off.

oh $hiet
It's been a long time since I did the brakes. I took the wheel off, loostened the caliper and removed the cotter pin but I thought I had to take that center nut off. So I don't have to take that nut off? Dang - sometimes I feel like I should drink more coffee! Thanks!

And put a new cotter pin back for the axle nut.

You can also put a bolt in the one of the two holes on the rotor and as you thread it in the rotor comes off.

The rears are not changed as often as the front brakes and rotors. So yes, theres gonna be a ton of rust holding them on.

Just keep whacking it from the back w a big hammer or find a screw that will fit in one of the small holes in front. Screw it in till the rotor pops off.
