does anybody know how to tell if the tint on my windows are stock or aftermarket?
the reason I ask is because a buddy of mine told the other day that my
windows are too dark, and I will get a ticket if a cop sees them.
I'm in california, and the law says that no after market tints are allowed
in the two front windows unless they are from carmaker.

Now, I checked all the windows and all of them have "Nissan Temperlite" on them.

Is this what I need or should I be looking for something else?

 

u cant tell if it was tinted by the dealer or not. if its too dark then its too dark to be legal no matter who put it on !

 

should I take the tints off or what?

 

how dark is it? look on cardomain and show us a pic that seems close to yours, or just take a pic of it

Sedans are basically NEVER tinted from the factory...only SUV's, minivans, wagons...etc.

You'll never see the front windows tinted from the factory...in some states it is completely illegal to do that.

 

i thought it's ok to do that in california. i saw some laws where it doesnt matter what the % of the tint is on the front 2; then again they might be out dated

... no tints.... stock.. i think you can have them tinted by dealer.. but how can u not tell.. if you have tints.. look at them.. next to a car that has no tints for shure... i mean you can tell... its failry easy..

2 DA MAX... i saw your car like 5 times within 1 week period time.. on little neck... hillside.. etc... nice car... but do you always lean forwad when your driving.. hehe...im shure you can sit back and see potholes..
