Pray

Im going to pray to god that this car does not break down, because im saving for a 2002 Altima. It's kinda sickining that i have invested this much money in a 12 year old car.

man, you guys are hating on your cars...

But yes, 2002 I hope to buy a sportbike...and keep the maxima. Maybe my dad will buy me a new car, not sure though...Turboing the max is still tempting.

Dirksmoothe has the right attitude.Man you guys are just going to ditch your cars.My plan for 2002 is the same as Dirk's.Oh yeah and to buy my SER.But I am still going to keep my Max forever. Why get rid of it when it is paid for?If it blows up rebuild it.No new cars look as clean as the 3rd gen.NONE

Proove To all the People

My Project is half way done almost complete except for few things, but that should be def done by 2002. I wanna proove to those people who keep teling me to sell my car and get a new one. Also to all those people with Hondas and Acuras there are more cars then those 4 cylinder craps. Plus who ever doubted my Max. Project pic coming soon. (One hell of a roaring max)

im keepin my max and going to start to mod the engine more and try to get some kind of body kit. i cant imagine selling it. it looks great, all maintenance things have been taken care off, the car rides great, and there is not one once of rust on it. the condition and the design of the car do not show there age at all. compare the look of a 92 maxima to other cars out that year. the maxima was defintly ahead of its time. if people try to sell there cars with all these mods on it there going to get less than if it was bone stock.

My goal for 2002 and to get 2 black racing stripes down the middle of my car so it will look like the old muscle cars.

I love my max but I need another since mine is a VG, I would settle for the VE because in my opinion 3rd gens look the best but I also like the 5th gen. I need more power! So I will be contemplating on what to get next.

As you can see......

Mine is not going anywhere. Take a look at my sig and you will see why. The major things I plan to do are the suspension, the wood trim, and the sound system.

I plan on buying a new max. 2000 SE or maybe an AE. Not sure which yet. Probably around January.

I am NOT getting rid of my baby though. I plan on keeping her for daily driving. I live quite a bit from where I work. I average 450 miles a week on my car and I DO NOT want to put that kinda mileage on the new one.

I have almost $15,000 saved for the down payment on the new one. Should I drop those G's on the old max or fork out for a new one?

Just being realistic

man, you guys are hating on your cars...
Hey, I don't WANT to get ride of it. It's quicker than it's ever been! We're looking at re-locating to Florida in 2-3 years and I'm just not going to be able to get a new one AND keep this one without $10K falling on my head. Believe me, I'm going to need therapy when I get rid of this car.

Shouldn't he add 2 4bbl Holley Carbs, Hooker headers, and a Weiand 6-71 supercharger while he is at it?

Can't go wrong with some size vents like the 67 Shelby GT-500. I love that car. If I could find one that was reasonably priced, that sucka would be mine.
