VE30DE Header flanges

Does anyone know if the header flanges on the VG30DE are similar to the VQ30 and 35 or has anyone compared?

I am seriously considering a 3rd Gen to race next year and have a set of Hotshot headers that I could get modified if the flanges are similar. Guess I could even get a set of VG30DE flanges welded on but not sure its worth it over the Y-Pipe from reading the different threads on the subject.

Errr, there's no VG30DE in the Maxima.. you have a VG30E and a VE30DE.

but no, the VE does not use flanges the same as a VQ. I tried to fit a VQ35 manifold on mine once just for grins.. it was close, but the bolt holes didn't line up. I don't remember how far off the ports were, but it was surprisingly close.

Just a newbie in 3rd Gens I still have a lot to learn.

Yes I meant a VE30DE. Hmmm would have been nice if it was possible.

Yup.. would be nice.
the flange patterns are all the same on each port- just flipped over on a couple of them.

you could make a pattern off one manifold and just have 6 pieces of 3/8" plate steel cut to the shape of one opening.
then just bolt it to the head and start welding on weld els.

There was a rumor... off the board... a while ago that a PFI turbo kit can bolt up to the VE.

One of the local guys had some VQ30 flanges cut on a water jet for his turbo setup. I think his name on here is nateplaysbass? He could probably help you out with making flanges, the rest is just going Jesse James style
