Can I pass State Inspection with KYB/Eibach

I have to do state inspection this month, and wonder if anybody had any bad experience with suspension test.
It's been more than 1.5 yr since I drop my car, and I have following symtoms.

1) My car makes a lof of squeak from suspension. I sprayed WD40, but it won't help. Does our Maxima have grease fitting/zerk? Do I need to grease certain parts? I don't think my shock is bad at all but really noise. Besides can State fail me because of excessive noise, squeak?

2) I probably hit speed bump or something. My exhust bounced up and down hard in bumpy road. It seems like it's hitting something but I can't figure it out. I didn't bother because I am saving up for exhaust and Y-pipe. But I have to pass this month's inspection. Only thing I am concerning is that when they check my suspension, they might hear this banging sound. Can they fail me because of this? Visually, it doesn't look like exhaust is falling apart but noise is unbearable when it hit against underbody.

Thanks in advance.

My exhaust is loose too and it makes a thumping sound once in a while, and I passed inspection (in NJ) with no problems. Well, actually I failed, but because one of my corner (or is it called parking) lights had a small hole. It worked, but had to get it replaced. Just passed today!

They do a "suspension test" where you're from? WOW. A state inspection in NC is check emissions, tires, make sure the lights work and all emissions gear is on the car. I'f I'm lucky and there's no line, I'm in and out in 20 minutes. Unless they are actually driving your car, I wouldn't worry about it...But I'd get the noise diagnosed and fixed before buying exhaust.

In NJ, they check, Idle emission, Dyno emission, gas cap, brake, suspension, and lights(no modified bulbs). They drive your car to this shaking pad(not sure how it called), then that pad vibrate up and down to check your suspension. Well, they have been raised registration fee nearly 200-300% since 5 yrs ago, to cover their cost of this new diagnostic machine. NJ sux~

Dude, that's WILD! We had counties in NC that JUST started having emissions tests in 2000 Get the noise fixed first, for real.

You know that's changed now, right? We lived in Fayettenam for two years before moving back to Raleigh. My wife kept her registration down there. Regardless of whether we get her car (BMW) inspected in Raleigh or Fayetteville, they hook up the computer. Most counties switched in 2002. Even Johnston County is like that now.
