Speed sensitive power steering boost questions

After doing an exhaustive search on the Org site I feel safe to ask about this issue.

Does anyone feel that the power steering boost is too much for the Max at highway speeds? At 70mph it just feels like the front end is floating a little, like my old 78 Mercury Marquis. The wheel feels 'dead' when on center and to get it to turn to change lanes or go around a curve the steering input has a little lag before the wheels receive the input to turn. Is there a way to turn down the boost or tighten the steering rack? My 02 Max SE had a much tighter feel in the steering, it really felt tight and connected to the road. Also, would a strut tower brace and/or rear sway bar help? I know I have the SL but this is Nissan's 4DSC so I think it should feel like one and not a Buick Century. I love my Max, I guess I just want it to be perfect.

Personally, I never noticed any lag or problem with the steering. I wish the car steered a little heavier though.

no problem here. I commute daily on the high way and haven't noticed anything.
