antenna broke off!!!!!

antenna broke off!!!!!

omfg. i went through a local car wash today and for some odd reason the antenna didnt go down. i shut off the radio and everthing. the mast just bent in half. and obviously i just broke it off. where cna i get a replacement? installer.com? and will i just need the mast or will i need the motor too?

i had the same exact thing happen to mine, but i never installed another one, im not a fan of antennas anyways, i dont like the way they look...i still have great reception tho

yeha personally i would LOVE to get rid of the whole thing and put in one of those hidden antennas and shave off the old one...but i am NOT good with body work haha. so im just gonna buy a new one.

its like $46 new on internet. mine was halfway up, then i broke it completely off. then go into trunk, on jackstand opening unplug the antenna, then the motor wont freak out when u use the radio (turn on and off). the rear defrost works just as good

You all need to read the stickies... if the motor still works, you just need to replace the mast... less than 20 bucks off Ebay or from Pep Boys.

Can the antenna be replaced with a non-moving antenna? I hate these antennas that go up and down, it's really annoying when you switch from radio to CD and back. I would like to get a solid antenna (not hollow) that is less likely to break to replace it with that is always up (like most cars have).
