Bad CV Joint... noise comes and goes
Had a ripped boot on the passenger side so I had both axles completely replaced. I installed the Ksport coilovers and had them adjusted just about as high as you can get them but even thats pretty low as coilovers tend to be. Drove on that for about a month and a half and had some serious CV joint noise coming from the passenger side. The noise was especially bad after a turn and going up hills when stepping on the gas but I only heard it when I had a passenger in the car with me (like it took some weight on that side to put more stress on the joint).
So I raise the suspension as high as it can go and the wheels fit the wells nicely. They're not tucked under, theres about a finger or two worth of space from the top of the tire to the fender. I haven't had any noises from the joints but I haven't had any passengers either.
Obviously the joint is going if its making noises, but what about this situation where its only part of the time. How bad do you think the joint is?

Obviously I'm asking for opinions and past experiences here; not a concrete answer.
The joints were replaced by a reputable shop in Warwick, RI. The shop stated at the time of the replacement that the joints had a lifetime warranty.

You might want to let the shop know whats going on and they will probably be gladly help fix the problem (and replace the axles if needed).
A lot of the lifetime warranteed axles are garbage... so even though the axles have the warranty, you still have to keep paying labor for the swap-out (if you didn't do it yourself).

I'm thinking the reason the joint failed prematurely was because the lowering with the Ksports resulted in pitching the axles UP as they attached to the wheels. According to a device that measures angles I bought from Home Depot, the angle was about 9*. When I finished raising the car as much as it would go this weekend the angle was reduced to about 6-7*.
In essence, I'm thinking the shop would have a basis to refuse to do the work under warranty if the car was lowered (or "modified").
