Swapping Auto trannies

Well my tranny is going to go bye bye, slipping like crazy, so im gonna get THT's (Ty's) auto tranny and hopefully swap it in this Saturday. For those that did it themselves, is there anything or tips that might help me swap this tranny in? Is there any parts that should be replaced while swapping in the new/used tranny?

It's really a pretty straightforward process. I followed Hal's write up and went to a Chilton & FSM when I did the conversion. Just prior to the conversion we swapped my A/T into someone elses Max, so I've been a part of a few tranny projects now using these materials. Be sure to put ALL pieces you take off into ziplog baggies and label them with a Sharpie. This SAVED OUR BUTTS!!!

I have the write up & the wiring directions mirrored on my site: http://www.johnsonirwinwolfe.com/5spd

If you need the FSM, PM me with the year you need. (I know from here you have a 97 but in PM I'll have no idea without looking it up )

Ya...I'm lazy to
