I need a reccomendation on a good Y-pipe and high flow CAT. My cat has a rattle thats pretty bad. Will changing these two items make my car louder? I'd like to keep it as quiet as possible. Where is a place to get a reasonable price on these things? Last of all, can I replace these by myself with no special tools?
Thanks, Zack

If you are looking for a performance y and cat, the car will be louder.

y-pipe

If you only change the y-pipe, and not the rest of your system I don't believe it will be much louder, especially when driving normaly. You will have some sound when you kick her down, theres alot more flow. Its not going to sound like a Honda. If your cat has a rattle, take it off, see whats up, it may just be a loose weld, but likely one of the bisquits has broken free and will need replacing.
