Who has the WSP Y-Pipe and are very satisfied or not satisfied with it)price, quality, noise, humm, shipping, customer service, reputation, they have good prices but.....is a y-pipe a y-pipe or what...materials..engineering...Cattman...Stillen. ..way too high for my wallet?????

Stainless...aluminized....how is Warpspeed?

I want a y-pipe to get that when I take it to my local muffler shop they can put it straight on without any ?'s fitment probs or headaches having to fab this or that and end up charging me more install fees for the pipe not bolting right up....

I have a WSP y pipe. There where big headaches trying to make it fit right and stop rattling. It still rattles when I take sharp turns. It has been adjusted the best it can. The hissing noise the pipe makes, makes your car sound like an POS pick up truck. Well, the one thing I can't complain about is A) I got it through the group deal: $305 B) Quick delievery C)Performance gains were great

yes

The customer service is great, the shipping is fast, the pipe seems solid, BUT it hisses and makes noises sometimes, esp around corners and stuff but for the gains which were good i'll live with it.

is the noise..............

annoying? so much as in negative? what about header wrap?

but for the price...is it enough to deal with?

and how "bad" is the "noise" we know any exhaust mods will bring noise.....

hmm

There is a moderate hiss, you can hear it when the windows are down and a little rattle above 3k rpms, it's liveable though. I kinda like the growl though, makes my car sound meaner.

so to sum it all up....

by all of your opinions the WSP pipe was Cheaper -price materials,quality...so get the more expensive pipe from Cattman or Stillen to get better quality and performance...cheap is not always good...$$$$$

any regret getting the WSP pipe because if you had the $305.00 then save alitle more to get the Stillen or Cattman.....HUH!!

Now my wsp pipe rattles a bit ( I think it is bumping the nagers underneath). But the fit was perfect-didn't have to bend it or anything. The hiss is ever so slight and only at hard throttle. The intake sound is louder. I like the way it sounds...sounds faster? Wsp customer service is top notch.

WSP Unhappy Customer

I've had the pipe on my car for over a month now and it still makes unwanted noises. I just sent an email to Dallas demanding a new pipe to be tested on a '97 Max in order to find out what the heck is the problem witht the flex section. Header wrap and clamps will significantly reduce the hissing sound. Notice that I said "reduce," not eliminate. I bought the pipe with the group deal. I should've waited and jumped on the Cattman group deal instead. As for fitment issues, I initially had a hard time slipping the pipe in the rear exhaust manifold. Dallas and Dan, I hope you guys are listening because I'm not the only one having problems with this y-pipe. That hissing sound has definitely got to go...

Re: WSP Unhappy Customer

I have the cattman stainless y-pipe and it has all of these problems as well. IMHO I would get the cheaper of the two, that is of coursse if both have similar performance gains.

Man, I wish people stood up and told us of these problems before the WSP group deal. I guess it's a little, no, way too late now, unless they do a recall....Hmmm....recall. Do you think that would ever happen??

Like I said, the cattman stainless has the same problems so don't feel ripped off. You could have paid more for the cattman and been even more unhappy
