Anybody running 235/50/17s?

I have been searching around on TireRack and found quite a few options in 235/50/17. First of all, I assume these will fit just like the 235/45/17s, but does anyone here run them?

the only difference in sizes is the height of the sidewall.. 50's are a little taller

I am running those on my rear axle, installed on 17 x 8 350Z wheels.
The tires were rubbing my fenders a little over bumps but this is because the Z wheels have different offset than stock.
I have the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires.

235-50-17 hides the wheel fender gap very nicely

i use to run micheline pilot a/s in 235/50/17. no rubbing but only dropped on maxspeeds. the tire filled the remaining gap well and i loved the tire but not the cost.

Would it make a big difference going one size wider than the stock 225/50/17's to 235/45/17's?

I'm about to buy some tires and im gonna go with 235/45/17 and 225/45/17. 50 profile is too much for 17's at least when "I" compare them to my stock 16's.

235/50/17 look terrible IMO, looks like monster truck tires on stock wheels.

guess it all depends on your stock offset. 235/50 for me

the offset wouldnt really contribute to the overall diameter just the width and height of the tires sidewall
