the yellow caps that are used for fogs, they go inside the fog housing and allow u to use the stock bulb as a beautiful yellow light, resembles the is300 yellow.

yellow bulbs CANNOT achieve the amount of "yellowness" that the HIDTech capsules can....trust me, i used pretty much every yellow bulb out there before I did the fog light yellow sheath mod.

As to contacting HIDTech....you're just gonna have to do it the old-fashioned way, with a phone. Or you can send them an email. They do not do online ordering.

Also, if you're doing this in your 5th gen, I suggest you order the 9006 sheath, NOT the H3 sheath. The 9006 has a mounting collar while the H3 does not - all of us who have done this mod on the 5th gen used the 9006.

There's a how-to on my cardomain page.

Here's what the color is - and this is using STOCK H3 bulbs! This is true color, and is exactly what it looks like in reality (not a camera trick)

gotta love irish's response always on top of things! will go wit the 9006 sheath's instead of the h3's.

id be willing to pay money that my Lumics (yellow) H7 bulbs are just as yellow and cost 1/3 of what you paid for your HID kit.

My boy with a 2k2 just installed his luminics H3's and they are solid yellow at night even at a far distance. The contrast between them and the OEm hid's is actually very nice.

maybe im missing something. irish posted about installing 9006 sheath on his oem h3 bulbs, which are the pics above. what hid kit are you referring to? he switched to oem hid headlights but the fogs are stock with the hidtech.com sheath. i bet your bulbs cost more than his sheaths, looks like you owe him money.
