Need help with tranny cooler installation...
My big question concerns the hoses. I know that as you look down into the car I am tapping into the hose on the right. What I don't know is what to do with that stock hose. Should I disconnect it at the tranny and then connect that stock hose to the tranny cooler and then use the hose that came with the tranny cooler to connect back to the tranny? Also, I see very limited space for two hoses to go past the radiator. Where did everyone pass the hoses around the radiator. There is a 1" hole to the right of the radiator with a small aluminum tube covered with rubber passing through it. Would that be a good place to pass the hoses through? Thanks in advance for all of the info.
what i did was ,put new hose from radiator to cooler then from cooler to tranny, the place i ran my hoses were to the bottom fog light passage and it was hidden by plastic cover you took off to get to tranny underneath
Well I decided to just go for it and hope the hose that came with the kit was enough for both hoses. It worked and after about 2 hours I had a big grin on my face. The four foot hose that came with the kit was perfect and I didn't even have a 1/4" to spare.
