crashed my max, need help with a vq project

well some a-hole hit me last week and the max is no more...but the motor still seems intact. Is there any car that the vq can be swapped into with another tranny because if so, that would be great cuz the vq is an awesome motor and i have it already....240sx, miata? please give me some feedback

Try with the 240sx a few other out there are trying it. I believe the Sentra also but it was a DE-K swapped in, but the vq would work also.

Sorry to hear about the accident, but glad your ok to tell about it.

if i were you i would get another max with a blown motor for cheap put the good motor in it and whala... if you try a car like a 240 you will have too many problems
(size mounting rear wheel drive and so on........ a sentra wont bolt up either but if you wanna put in alot of time and possibly never get it to work go for it but if it does in any of these cars your the man.............

yeah I would say buy another max with crazy milage or one that is done and swap vq's in it. There also is the possibility of putting it in a 240. Read on here a guy was doing that. But those arent as nice as the max....But it is rear wheel drive!FUN!

dam bro that sucks, Broaner is currenty doing a vq swap on the 240, but unless your a master mechanic or fabricator good luck. even if you do get the engine to fit, i would love to see you wire up the harness for that bad boy, it could be done, but thats more of a project car, your best bet is to buy a high mileage car and swap
