Auto 95 JWT ecu rev limit work on 97 5spd

this has probly been asked but... first off i know the 95 automatic ecu will run a 97 fine but my main question is, if i sent my 95 stock auto ecu in to JWT to get an upgrade along with 7200rpm rev limit for use on a MEVI on the 97 will the rev limit still be effective on the 5 spd car or do i need to get a whole new 95-96 5 spd ecu? right now im thinking it should be fine but i dont want to waste any money in the future to find out that it didnt work. Thanks -Ryan

It should work fine but you still will have all those tranny codes. Even with the 95 5speed ecu you will still have that rear o2 sensor code but all in all you shouldnt have issues with the rev limit

Im in that situation as we speak. Last smog I still had the 95 ecu with CEL and lets just say I "pa$$ed" the test. I recently bought the correct 97 ecu so hopefully that will get rid of the stupid 0707.

Its good to have a spare ecu around.
