goo gone on the dash

My radar left a bunch of sticky stuff all over my dash. Would it be safe to use goo gone on it or should i use something else?

I used "goo off" on my fake vinyl door trim, and it worked great - but I would definately spot test it under the dash somewhere first.

WD 40 is safer and probably will work better than goo gone.

wd 40 seems to just spread the gunk around. It does break it down enough that you can wipe it off with a bit of elbow grease.

i've had to use it to get some sticky crap off the dash before and it worked just fine, just don't get it in any seams where things might have been glued during assembly and you should be alright
