Has anyone tried Friction Free 3000?

Any thoughts if what they claim could be true?

here's the description:

FRICTION FREE 3000™ is a step beyond ordinary lubrication. Friction Free 3000 EngineTreatment protects, preserves, and restores new and old engines alike. Metallurgists in the field of tribology (the study of friction) confirm that soft metals provide superior friction-reducing quality and enhanced lubrication between two hard surfaces. The proper use of Friction Free 3000™ can help increase gas mileage, prevent dry starts, and reduce exhaust emissions.
How does it work? As metal moves against metal, microscopic soft-metal particles migrate into pits, crevices, and scratches caused by friction wear. Unlike conventional film lubricants which cannot properly protect against these conditions, Friction Free 3000™'s micro-metals fill, pack and plate the imperfect surfaces, restoring them to near original condition. The remaining micro-metals constantly circulate to provide added lubrication while seeking out new areas of surface wear.

Not necessary and perhaps harmful. Do yourself a favor, use decent quality oil and save your money.

I've seen this stuff used like 4-5 years ago and it's crap. Just a waste of money. Do like Jaws said and used decent quality oil.

I don't have the links available at work, but almost all of these companies were sued by the FTC for false advertising. Duralube, MotorUp, ProLong, Slick50, etc. You notice they don't advertise on TV anymore. It's a gimmick.

Very interesting...... glad I didn't use that... because I was thinking about it. I used the Lucas oil product. Anyone here have any comments on that product. I read up on it and it doesn't have any Teflon in it and seemed to look like a good product. So far so good.

Yes it works!

My family and I have been using Friction Free 3000 for about 10 years. It is great, and no, I don't sell the stuff or work for Market America. My daughter actually ran her car out of oil one time, and still drove it to the nearest town (about 15 miles) and once it got oil put into it, it ran fine and never gave her any trouble until she put it into a ditch. It increases gas mileage by quite a lot. Probably isn't worth much for brand new cars, but for older cars like mine always are, it is a life-saver! When I first started using it on my 10-year old car, it quieted it down, and the thing ran for about 250,000 miles until we sold it, and I think it ran for another 50,000 miles after that. And yes, it does increase the gas mileage dramatically. Like I said, probably not with a new car, but if your car is over 5 years old, I highly recommend it.

Good call. This newly registered account revived a 4-year-old thread as his very first post, just to testify for snake oil.

His daughter was blah blah blah... yeah, right.

Next up, Pulse Spark Plugs! And then, Water Injection! Wait, there's more... Nitrogen-filled Tires! The list is endless...

Yeah, baby!

Wait......you forgot the Tornado!!!! That thing adds like 50whp and doubles your gas mileage. All you have to do it put it in your intake tube.

Now just wait a minute, kgallerie!

My family and I have been using the Tornado for about 10 years. It's great, and no, I don't sell Tornados. My daughter actually ran out of gas one time, but was still able to use her Tornado to fly to the nearest town (about 15 miles) and once she filled it up, it ran fine and never gave her any trouble until she put it into a ditch. (Dumbass.) It increases gas mileage by quite a lot. Probably isn't worth much for real cars, but for make-believe cars like mine always are, it is a life-saver! I highly recommend it.

I have nitrogen filled tires

The GTR does too.

Nitrogen is more stable under extreme temp changes.

So your car must perform like a GTR since they both have the nitrogen filled tires, right???

Costco filled mine with nitrogen when I got new tires. The car was so damn fast after that and handled like it was on rails! But then I put some regular air in them from a pump at the gas station and now its back to a normal performing maxima.

But getting back on topic, I gotta try some of this Friction Free 3000. Once I use that, I'll never have to put oil in my engine again!

I suppose if I dragged raced my all-wheel-drive supercar in the Artic, I'd want nitrogen in my tires, too. Because there's no way Nissan would use a marketing gimmick. No way.

...yet you happen to know the name of the parent company right off the top of your head.

I was thinking Scott got a little disproportionately angry, mostly because it's no fun mocking child molesters. I suppose you'd have to join a child molester forum and talk smack...

See? Now that's just not funny. The whole gig just falls apart.

Since Steve brought up the word "transgressions", I modified Scott's post to be a little less offensive and a little more appropriate for recent events.

I'm not going to get into the physics of it but nitrogen is more stable than compressed air in performance applications. Nitrogen filled tires are used exclusively on most race cars...That being said its not really worth the extra effort on a street car.
