I'm guessing maybe half the people here (or less) understand that big, grown up word. But you can't read hyperbole without supporting intent. That requires voice inflection and supporting mannerisms.

Funny, too, because you advertise smilies in your sig, Scott.

Cute collection, btw.

well, the theory seems vaguely plausible. IIRC, leaded gasoline can be better for motors since the small bits of lead coat the moving parts instead of wearing away at them. but "micro soft metal particles"? Come on. I've seen plenty of primetime commercials for synth oil. occam's razor would dictate that if this technology actually had any merit, synthetic motor oil is a very competitive industry that they would develop this technology if it worked half as well as the spammer claims it does.

How 'bout this?

Why don't racers put Helium in their tires? Since it's lighter than air it should reduce unsprung weight!

Man....what happened???

This thread was fun until Scottwax came in with his hyperbole. How can you be so insensitive Scott???

C'mon, people. This is an online forum. If you are that oversensitive, :matt93se:

Now lets get back to bashing the guy who posted that Friction Free 3000 is the best stuff invented since the wheel, will make your car fly like a F-18 with no gas or oil in the car, turns garbage into gold, can stop all violence and wars in the world, and can feed the all the hungry people in Africa.

My family and I have been using Nitrogen in our tires for about 10 years. It is great, and no, I don't sell the stuff or work for Goodyear. My daughter actually had a flat tire once, but after inhaling the nitrogen from the other 3 tires, she felt confident enough to drive to the nearest town (about 15 miles). Once she replaced her shredded flat (dumbass), she was able to continue on without any trouble until she put it into a ditch and the tires exploded. It is a fact that Nitrogen increases gas mileage by quite a lot. Probably isn't worth much for people who can read and wear shoes, but for shills like me and Sarah Palin, it is a life-saver! I highly recommend it.

You betcha!

Yo, Rochester, I'm really happy that nitrogen worked well for you, and Ima let you finish your story, but I just gotta say that oxygen is the best diatomic molecular gas of all time. ALL TIME.

Even without a supporting smilie to make the point I wasn't dead serious about that comment, you'd think people will instinctively understand.

Too many years on offtopic.com, I guess.

Goodyear doesn't make Nitrogen

BTW - I am a Market America distributor, their products are great.

i counter your sarcasm with facts

http://www.popularmechanics.com/auto...o/4302788.html

Like i said in truly high performance applications such as racing its worth it, but for the average person its not. If someplace like costco is going to give it to me for free i'll take it, but i'll also just check and top off pressure with my home air compressor. If they wanna charge me extra for it i'll pass.

My mistake

I do apologize for spoiling all your fun with my earlier post. I did not realize this forum was not a serious one, and the question regarding Friction Free 3000 was also not a serious one. I see now you are just a bunch of children playing grown-up, and would not know the truth if it hit you in the face.

If you are so convinced that Friction Free 3000 is no good, where is your proof? Where are the studies that were done? Where is the court case if Market America is being sued for false advertising?

One correction - it wasn't "his daughter..." It was HER daughter. And I am a noob only because I read the question during a search to purchase the stuff online (which I do every Christmas for all my 5 children) and I thought the original poster really wanted to hear from someone who had tried it, so I went to the bother of signing into this forum and this is the thanks I get? You guys need to get a life.

To the original poster - if you listen to these adolescents, you'll miss out on a great product!

Probably the best post in this thread brought back from the dead. I remember when the t.v. airwaves were flooded with advertisements and infomercials from these companies.

I'll bite. Are you talking about the Sprint Booster? I had one for about half a year. Don't have it any more because I broke the retainer clip. Wish I still had it, though.

"worked for him" is a subjective phrase dependent on your definition. It doesn't affect HP in any way at all (duh). What it does is affect your perception of throttle sensitivity by front loading the signal in the electronic throttle.

Go ahead, come at me, bro.

On a sidenote, when you do throttle body calibration or whichever that process is where you press the pedal to the floor...if one was to not push it all the way to the floor would it imitate the sprint booster effect?

As in the ECU thinks the pedal is to the floor while its not quite actually there?

Good question, Greg. I suppose you should disengage the SB for situations like that. The new model has an "off" setting, so that would probably be a reasonable precaution. Or you could physically disconnect it... but like I alluded to previously, I broke the flimsy clip.

My throttle has no hesitation. I press the pedal, it goes. I have driven other 5.5s and mine is more responsive(they drive conservatively). I guess the ECU really do learn. My ECU knows I have a heavy foot.

Your ECUs know you're carting around Miss Daisy.

BTW, for you younger guys, the bananas only went into the transmission if it was a manual gearbox. Usually you put the bananas in the rear end, they muffled the rear end howl if it was going out.

Motor honey went into the crankcase if you had engine noises that were suspect...

That's how they sold used cars in the 50s and 60's.

Fun thread. The video made me want to buy some FF3000

I was on Google browsing different gif's. I came across it from a gif website. Don't remember which one. If you Google "bump gif" you should be able to find it.
