MSD Ignition upgrades?

http://www.superstreetonline.com/howto/3291/

I was reading about these things a couple days ago cause i was bored. I would expect better gains with a boosted application, but has anyone tried these for NA app's? Would they even work on our cars? I would assume so, but i figured i would ask if anyone has tried one of these out before or not.

Not applicable to 95+ maximas since they have coils on each plug. In other words, 95+ maximas have distributerless ignition system. Some of the 3rd gens may also, but I don't know much about the 3rd gens.
