i believe i have a GXE ecu and it wont let me go over 117, can anyone help.

I am not up there in speed a lot but when i do i wanna go past 117, does anyoone know which wire to cut?

 

Your going to get alot of "read the 4th gen stickies" it is in there.
But if i were you i would just buy a SE ECU

Read the stickies in the 4th gen section, it tell you how to get around it if you dont want to spend money.

 

well the money issue isnt so bad i mean how much can it be 100bux... the problem is installing it...!!!! i ve found somewhere that u have to cut a pink wire with blue stripe on it.... can anyone justify this claim?

 

If you buy an ecu dont pay more than $120 for it. Installing the ecu is plug and play but the work area is very cramped.

Did you check the stickies in the 4th gen on how to get rid of the limiter? its in there.
