G35 Touch up

I recently acquired some Coupe wheels and they have some small nicks here and there on the wheel and was needing to know what the best product would be to touch them up with?

Also since I've always had chrome wheels until now, what is the best product(s) to use to clean these type of wheels?

Any info is appreciated.

You might get away with grayish touch up. But you will not be able to copy the finish. It's a complicated two stage finish that even wheel repair places can't seem to duplicate. At least as far as I know.

I'm glad you found a set. If you need tires, try running 225-45-18 on ebay. Lots of tires there.

Yup, we just had an '05 coupe (w/the stock 19's) in our shop that the face of the wheel was slightly scratched. I checked with the inusrance company and when they heard the cost of the replacement wheel, they said to try and have the wheel repaired first. So we had our local wheel repair specialist come by the shop and give it a try. The color was close, but not exactly the same. It did not seem to have the same "shine". But, the difference was $125 compared to almost a $1,000. In the end, the customer couln't tell the difference and was happy.

ok i asked my buddy again, and this is what he said

"It was just silver Mopar automotive touch up paint. It was specific to a silver dodge pick up I owned, but seemed to match the wheels well."
