I saw that but I think I was looking for of a true value (and not the store).

My car with the stock ECU read a value of 44 degrees @ 6500 rpm. Is it correct, I don't know.

This is with digimoto software.

That can't be correct. Was that value at WOT?

Can anyone compare the difference between what the stock 4th gen ECU runs and what the stock 5.5 gen ECU runs? I'd really like to see how much more timing 5.5 gens run compared to ours.

My data in post #2 above is all at WOT.

I get 44-46 deg at part throttle cruise over a wide range of rpm (<2000 - 5500). As soon as you put your foot into it and start to accelerate, the advance starts to drop.

Gotcha. I thought something was wrong. That's what I noticed this morning on my way to work with Scantool Software and Digimoto. When I let up the timing went up to 43 degrees. On acceleration in would hang around the 25 degree mark.

That's odd. Deezo you have a TS ECU and JClaw has a stock one yet the WOT advance values are around the same.

Right now I running my stock ECU. I'm trying to get used to the software before I thow the TS ECU back in. Plus, on really hot days I was getting heavy detonation with the TS ECU and I wanted to make sure it wasn't anything else. I'm going to see what my timing is with the TS ECU soon.
