Helios Hi/Lo Hid Kit

Hi guys,

I wanted to find out three things from those of you who have this kit:

1) Do you need to use the additional "special wiring" that came with it?
2) Did you replace the stock fuse with the 10a provided?
3) How does the the red wire from the ballast connect to the OEM wire harness? The red wire has two prongs and doesn't look like it will fit over the OEM harness.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

use the long black wires with the three little boxes..thats for hi/lo and i dont even know if it would work without it.

i kept the fuses that came with it in and put the other ones on the shelf

as for the red wire..i cant recall what it looks like right now but it goes in no problem..the directions come with the booklet its the hi/lo diagram, that should show you everything..its really simple

Cool thanks!!! After looking at the diagram some more I figured it out. All those wires are a bit much at first.

Look in the groupdeal section of the Org or send a PM to maximabest.

I'm considering upgrading to HID's as well. Looking for the clear white look with the HI/LO function. How much was the Helios Kit and where did you purchase?

Contact maximabest on the org. He's the one running the group deal. His prices are as follows:

5000K $260.00
6000K $265.00
7000k $275.00
9000k $285.00
12000k $295.00

I believe that's just for the standard kit without high beam. He should be able to answer your questions.
