What are best tires for the Max?

Dealer says I need new tires due to extreme noise from cupping (20K miles)

If I replace the tires, I want the best in terms of reliability (no shimmy) and very important they must give a Quiet ride. Price is a factor.

What are the tires that you would recommend?

I've been rolling on Yokohama Avid Tourings since April. I got them on TireRack.com for like 55 bucks each (for stock GXE wheels). Switching from the old Tiger Paws, the ride instantly went from loud and busy to silent and smooth.

I bought a set of Bridgestone RE-950's...i can't say they're the best, but they're definitely the best set of tires I've had...good handling, outstanding wet weather performance, and excellent longevity...I have ~ 40K on them now and they have lots of tread (~ 9/32) remaining. If the B'stones are too expensive, look into a set of Kumho's...excellent tire and a reasonable price.
