A Q on Fidanza Flywheel

I bought mine used here from an .org member and before I get it installed I'm wondering if I should get a replacement surface for it. The friction surface seems to have 2-4mm left on it and I have no idea how long that will last. Any ideas???

I believe they say you should only resurface those one time before replacing the surface. If you know its not been resurfaced that I'd just have that done and call it a day. If it has been before, you might not want to take the chance and just get the replacement surface.

I don't know if it has been resurfaced before, and I have no idea what is "safe" for thickness on the fricton plate. I have an email in to Fidanza, but anyone know what is safe runout?
