I am thinking of installing one amp under each seat (drivers and passengers) and bolting them through the floor with nuts on the other end. Going to use some sealant on the threads to prevent any water from getting up into the cabin. The reason being is I want them hidden and almost impossible for a punk to steal. If they want it, they can take the whole car, take the seat out and put a wrench on the nut and ratchet out the bolt! I like to make it harder on them. Alot of work for two amps.

 

Depends on the amp/ the efficency, etc... Usually 2" clearance is fine.

 

Just screw them down with normal stinger screws, nobody will be able to see em. And yes, theyll be plenty cool there.

 

In the summer theyll most likely stay cool with the A/C on, although in the winter, the heat will be blowing on them.....

You won't regret having them under the seats. I have mine under there and love having them out of sight.
