carbon fiber headlight cover legal??

ok i live in cali and im wondering having my headlight covers on my headlights gonna get me a fix it ticket from the popo, any body know the answer please tell me kinda wondering cause a cop gave me a long stare today. scared the the he11 out of me (suspended license).

Yes they are illegal, and don't drive with a suspended license, that's a misdemeanor if you are caught.

For off road and show use only... yes they are illegal, will you get pulled over for them in the day, probably not, night, better chance. But don't if you got a suspended license but better yet don't drive... cuz your not suppose to...

Driving on a suspended license... Illegal headlight covers...

Your asking for trouble. Not only are you taking a huge risk driving on a suspended license (you're hosed if you get caught), you are actually giving the cops a reason to pull you over by having headlight covers.

thx 4 tha imput guys, i only drove 1 time up tha street so far on my suspended licence (parents out of town had to get food). too many cops around here, and i have to drive on tuesday to school cause of wierd finals schedule thts it, cause i get license back on the 12th of june. ill leave the covers off for now....

Good idea to take off the headlight covers, but call a friend to drive you. The suspension ends less than 2 weeks from now. If you get caught, that's probably another 6 months of a suspended license. And before you say I won't drive stupidly, that doesn't keep someone from running into you. Or you could run into a check point. Having no license is bad.
