need so brake rotos advice

i'm looking for some new brake rotors and some new pads, i have had very bad experience becuase my brakes did not do a good job in time when i needed them most. any of you guys ever had that.
so i went on ebay and i found this deal.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissa...spagenameZWDVW

its front and rear cross-drilled/slotted rotos for 219.00
i'm also thinking about buying hawk pads to go along with that, since i read that many people had good experience with that. i need some advice on this. i have a 2000 SE and i live in brooklyn, so its alot of traffic driving. some people say that sport rotors such as these are a waste of money, other say its a good investement. also i want to know if its worth purchasing stainless stell brake lines. if anyone has them, tell me what the difference is.
any help from u guys is appreciated, also if anyone knows where i can get all this for a good price please let me know.

thanks alot.

i have these and they are pretty nice. For the price you arent gonna find a better deal. REMEMBER: when replacing the rotors replace all pads. i had new ones on the back already but they had already been bedded and i still dont like the way they look. they grip like all hell though

just do a google search for rotors and pads, and then look up reviews on that part number, or post in here (is this a good rotor?) ext.

Or you could buy them in this group deal and spend about 1/2.
