I am having a new bumper painted tomorrow and asked them to paint the grill same as the bumper. I have a 2001 so grill is part of the bumper, but a trim piece does come off. Just don't know if I should have the trim piece also painted or just leave it the stock dark silver. Anyone have a sterling mist and had the grill painted to match? Post pictures if you have please, I cant get an idea of how it will look and if I should keep the trip piece stock or paint it.

um my sig has it, sort of.
i had the whole bumper (grill included) painted but i put the street scenes grill over it so i dunno how good ur gonna see it.

i do remember when i had it painted b4 i put on the grill that i didn't like it all one color. i think the color contrast looks better on a sterling mist imo...

Thanks for the pictures and thoughts! I am going to do it but what about the ring around the grill? I have the SE which is Dark silver. I think the GLE and GLX have the chrome trim. Also any more pictures would be great!

Mine is Black...and I left the burger chrome. By now you've probably had it the painted. You won't be disappointed.

 

Haha...well i got the flip-out one in. Just gotta wait until Nilesh has some time to put the overhead flip-down and power up the ol' X-Box.
