ebay dashkits?

ebay dashkits?

has anyone installed those vinyl dash kits they sell on ebay? if you have, are you happy with the end result?

^^^here's a flame suit...catch.

I don't see how those vinyl kits can look good. if you want some ricer neon color, you are probably better off just painting. you get what you pay for. get something like REAL Brushed aluminum, or REAL wood. If you get something tastful, it will look much better than any vinyl.

i just got done looking at some of them on ebay..they look pretty nice though and cheap!

The vinyl kits are "OK". If you get the molded ones, it looks 10 times much better because it contours with the trim much better, whereas the non-molded ones only take the shape of the trim leaving noticeable gaps around the trim. Like someone said before, you get what you pay for. I had a vinyl kit in my '95 which looked alright, but when I bought one in my 2K, I didn't like it too much just because it looked too "busy" with too many pieces, especially with the center console.
