Would this fit?

I'm in the market for a different auto shift ****, but I'm not willing to pay $80+ for an aftermarket one, nor do I like any of them anyway. So I was wondering if perhaps a different OEM one would work. In particular the MKIV Supra auto shift ****. It has an O/D button, so I know that part would work out.

My question is, would it fit? It's not Nissan, and the shifter console isn't the same on them (it's sort of curved up like a hill rather than being flat like ours).

Notice the slight curve:

...and while I have a thread open, how do you get our auto shift **** off?

Sorry, I can't help you, but it's funny that Supras make even driving an auto sweet...haha

iirc 1max2nv has a toyota celica ****. go find a supra **** and take some measurements.

to remove the stock ****, there is a screw in the front side holding it on. https://maxima.org/modules.php?name=LSB

Thanks for the link. That's the thing though, no one around here owns a Supra, nor are there any in junkyards. I'd basically have to find a **** on the internet or something and buy it. Which is taking a big risk. Oh well. According to the write-up you linked me to, though, it wouldn't be too difficult.
