if the coolant temp sensor on my 95 max is going bad or is bad will that give me a hard time starting the car.

Same question with the air intake sensor.

 

according to haynes the coolant temp sensor is used for fuel mixture, igntion timing, and egr operation. the intake temp is used for fuel injection, igntion timing, and egr operation.

im not sure if i believe the intake sensor doing anything, but it just may. but the coolant does have an affect on the idle for sure.
