Y Pipe Installation issues

Alright so i go to put my new y-pipe today, and first, the factory hangar is gone, its just some random bent piece welded onto the pipe and stuck thru the rubber thingy... the cat heat shield is missing, oh well no big loss there, and then i look at the bolts between the y and the cat. They dont look like bolts at all, but like this. Anyone know what these are or how to get them off? Im assuming they need to be cut/drilled but dont wanna try something when i have no clue what im doing. feedback appreciated in advance! peace

mine were bolts and I was able to get them off with a nice breaker bar. Are they just so eaten away by rust that they are completely rounded off, or what?

nice artwork by the way

haha dont kill a mosquito with a shotgun, but either way, theres no threads on either side, and its perfectly round. very confusing. it looks ALMOST like they slid some 3/4 inch or whatever round bar through there and welded the ends to the flange.....either way, its retarded and exhaust chain shops are gay for the above reasons.

studs, u cant really get those out yourself unless you wanna sit there forever with like visegrips. Take that crap back and tell them you want studs in the cat but nuts holding the y pipe on so you can take it off in the future if needed

I had the same problem, go to your local midas or monro, give the guy workin
20$ and tell him to torch them off and put bolts and nuts.

he will be happy with the 20$ and u can go home and remove the new bolts with ease
