I put the key in, turn it *crank* *crank* *crank* no start, i do it again and press the gas this time and it starts but still very hard to start. This happens everytime i start it when it is cold.

Try, turning the key to the ACC position first. Don't crank the car. Leave the key in this position for 3-5 sec.. Then crank the car.
