A33 Series (00-01) APEXi S-AFC II Pin Location On ECM (411 Inside)

I know I've seen the wiring set-up for 4th Gen's, but I didn't see a wiring set-up for the 5th Gen's (00-01 - not including 02-03 models). So I thought I'd share in case anyone out there needs it:

You can also refer to page 29 in the wiring diagram book from APEXi under CEFIRO/A33/VQ20DE/N8-a as it is the same.

*Pin Terminal *Wire Color *Item
93-----------W----------Knock Sensor
25-----------W/G------- Tachometer
61-----------W----------Mass Air Flow Sensor
73-----------B---------- Mass Air Flow Sensor Ground
63-----------W--------- Oxygen Sensor 1 (Front) (Bank1)
91-----------L/W--------Throttle Position Sensor
110----------R/G-------- IG Power
48---------------------- ECM Ground/Engine Ground

are you asking a question or telling us that that's the pinout, because from looking at the diagram those pins are correct.

It's not a question. Since I didn't find the pin locations for the S-AFCII any where on this site besides the 4th Gen's and 5th Gen's (02-03), I thought I would put this out there for those of us with A33 00-01 Max's. Hope it helps!

Thanks a million! I posted for this a month or so ago and no one responded with correct info so I gave up plus it was HOT AS HELL!!! Now I'm ready to install. I'll post my results as soon as I'm done. Had it in my Talon and my hybrid civic's with positive results.

I don't have one, but heard there were a few wires not used. Would you provide which ones so there are no confusions as there sometimes are here. Thanks.

Deckdout2, that specific diagram that JIME provided is not for the 5th Gen's (00-01 model year). On the other hand it is for the 5th Gen's (02-03 model year). The two wires off the S-AFCII harness that aren't used is the Pink & Orange wires. import_rcr - I'm glad I could help! BTW, remember to wire the brown and black ground wires off the S-AFCII harness 1 cm apart with the brown wire closest to the ECM. In addition, the yellow wire (MAF output) must go towards the ECM and the white wire (MAF input) must go away from the ECM. In order to accomplish this you must cut the wire at Pin 61 off the ECM. Also remember "not" to use crimps or taps when wiring into the ECM. Only solder each connection and than of course wrapping each connection seperately in electrical tape or heat shrink tubing.
