huh? 5.5 se grill and 5.5 gxe grill

i saw a STOCK maxima with a chrome finish on the horizontal lines of his GXE grill, i have an se and the horizontal lines are painted silver, does the GXE have a different grill than the SE?

im not 100% sure but i think SE has silver or w/e painted and GXE/Gle has chrome. im not positive though.

ive seen this before too, but i went to nissan and asked, they didnt know anything about it. that was the ONLY grille i would have purchased. i even tried painting an OEM grill in rattle can chrome- wasnt good enough.

i saw someone selling the stick-on chrome strips for the grille sometime ago on ebay. maybe this guy got it from there.

I have a GXE, and the grille does not have chrome trim on it.

I saw those silver peices on ebay too. Im thinking about getting them. Looks nice. anyone know about them or the quality???

NONONONONONO U WANA SEE WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE, I BOUGHT THEM, THEY ARE THOES FAKE CHROME DOOR BUMP THINGS THAT YOU CAN GET AT ANY PEPBOYS. THEY ARENT WIDE ENOUGH FOR THE WHOLE FRONT OF THE GRILL RATHER THE WHOLE SILVER PAINTED PART. ITS UP TO YOU BUT I BOUGHT THEM AND I THINK THERE CHEEP PIECES OF CRAP.

ACTUALLY, AFTER I BLEW THE DUST OFF, I PUT THEM ON MY SPARE GRILL AND YA KNOW WHAT, THEY ACTUALLY LOOK GOOD, JUST CUT THEM TO SIZE, WOW I JUST CONTRADICTED MY SELF HARD CORE.

Looks like they stick out past the bumper. IMO stock or body match > chrome stick-ons

i had those on my 00, i thought they looked good, but i had stock headlights so it kinda matched, i repainted my grille and ae'ed my headlights.so i took them off and never put them back on. i dont think theyd look right anymore. theyre just laying around the garage
