advice would be greatly apreciated!

i was in an accident so im getting a paint job on my honda since i have to paint the side of it anyways. Im debating on keeping it black or changing up the color (im tired of getting car washed every 4 days) if i keep it black the guy at this body shop says he can paint the tail lights black for me for free. What do u guys think about that ? and does painting the tail lights not work very well for some colors ? if i changed to a smokey greyish silverish gun metal type color, would it look stupid if i had the tail lights painted that color also ? sorry im really new to all of this lol. heres my car so you can get an idea.

also, do u guys know any good sites that have like catalogues or something of paint colors that are actually shown on a car? i can find some website that have color catalogues, but i want to see the colors on cars, not on little squares lol. ive been browsing through this site trying to get ideas. Maybe you guys can recomend some colors ? i'm spending 2000 to repair the damage and get a new paint job and replace most of the molding, or 2500 if i change the color. in the near future i probably plan on getting new tail lights, head lights, new rims someday and then new tires very soon. i guess im just trying to say the color doesnt really have to go good with my tail lights etc because i plan on changing them soon anyways, not sure if that would matter. like i said im really new to all of this. this is my first car and i barely got it 2 months ago. you guys are the experts so im coming to you for advice.

thanks a bunch in advance. btw any other ideas for making my car nicer are greatly apreciated im more into looks etc then performance, i wont be racing or anything.

I think that you should go to a honda forum as they would have more insight (read: care) more than us. Thanks....

I'd leave it black. Yes, black cars are a pain to keep clean (will NEVER own one again) but repainting the car will cost a LOT more 'cause they have to redo the insides of the doors, hood, etc... If it's worth it to up the price by about a grand then go ahead.

got problems with coilovers. Crackling sound when driving and definately when turning. I know my axles are bad...will replace sometime in the near future, but this is different. When going over bumps also...basicaly whenever the strut is in motion, something is making a crackling sound. Brand new coilovers, just installed yesturday. I have to admit though, the coilovers were cheap (off eBay) Im affraid of driving now, seems like my wheel are going to fall off any minute.

if this is your 1st car, then learn how to drive first, then save up some $$ and buy a Maxima...

How to repair my maxima 2000 SE- trunk holder rod. its broken at the left bracket area. Please suggest. Dealer is asking for 400 bucks for bracket + labor. The trunk does not hold upright when opened without the holder now

Buy a used part that is good off ebaymotors.com or salvage yard.
Do the install yourself; a public library where you are should have a manual that covers this car. Photocopy the pages you need and then repair.
If you need more help, ask.
