HELP: Car shuts off when I come to a stop

My car has been randomly shutting off. When I come to a full stop and then begin to accelerate the rpms drop and the car turns off. The only code I get is 05 05 which means no problem is recorded. I just replaced the ks but that didnt seem to help. I have also tried cleaning my TB, cleaning IACV, and changing pcv. None of this seemed to help. Please help.

Most likely a sensor problem, had a problem like this before. Ended up being the coolant temp. sensor

could try cleaning the egr valve, my buddy ran into a similar problem last week. all we did was clean his egr and his truck ran like a champ again.

Mass Air Flow could also be the problem. My Max was having your exact same problem several weeks ago. I changed the KS and MAF. Works much better, but I am currently experience lower than normal idling due to EGR valve.

if you need to rev the car in order for it to keep on running, don't think its stupid, but do you have enough engine oil in yoru car? i believe the car has a safety switch that if its running on too lil oil, it would want to shut off. The coolant temp sensor controls how much coolant your engine is getting. if it is bad, you will be able to tell by the temp guage. If it is hot, that means its stuck closed, if its cold, that means its stuck open. This temp sensor i'm talking about is the one that is connected to the radiator not the one to the ecu.

YUP! I had the same problem also, and this is what it ended up fixing it...about $25 for the part and oh 5 minutes to change out...have the new one ready to go to minimize coolant loss. (You shouldn't lose more than a few ounces, if that).

Just changed the coolant temp this morning. I drove the car for about 10 miles without any problems.
