I posted a thread earlier today about a problem I had with my car:
(This morning when I started my car I heard a lot of clicking or pinging under the hood. When I pressed on the gas it only got faster and a little louder. Also a bad smell came out of the exhaust.)

I have the same problem a lot of you guys are having in terms of the rattling sound coming form under the hood under 2000 RPM’s. Anyways the Nissan Dealer called me back and told me they were going to replace the Crank Sensor due to a recall. They also said they were going to replace the Valve Timing Control Sprockets (VTC). The person I talked to said this is my problem and my car will no longer make the rattling sound I was experiencing. He also said that this is usually repaired not replaced but that he would replace them. If anyone has had this done let me know. Otherwise I will let you guys know if this repair made a difference.
