Progress Springs w/ Tockio Illuminas

I'm trying to figure out which route I should take for suspension. I'm thinking of going either with the S-Techs or Progress. I love the drop of S-techs but alot of people say the ride is very stiff and not comfortable at all. So how do you guys with progress springs matched with illuminas like the ride? thanks!

I like the ride.... I have the Illuminas set to combinations of 3 or 4 typically and I think it rides real nice. You're still gonna feel more of the medium to large bumps, but apart from that, the set-up deals with the smaller road imperfections pretty well.

first of all none asked you all that are *****ing to read each and every post so when it is a repost there is a button at the top called BACK.

Anyway to answer you question, i have the progress and tokicos and honeslty, i love it. i have had it know for a bout 8 months. I just added a set of 18's to the mix and the ride, dare to say, is better then stock. yes you feel the road alot more which includes the minor bumps or grooves in the road. I have no problem with speed bumps and i hardly ever really scrap the bottom. I have hit the front end on the ground a few times but that was due to the severe incline i was going down. If you are looking for a more agressive look and a smooth ride(most of the time) then this is def. the way to go. I have all pics on my website at cardomain and at onlinshowoff. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

I've heard H&Rs are good comfortable springs, but isn't the height a little different, I think it might sag in the rear, and the drop isn't as much. Sorry, that was an bias post.....lol

No. I have them with Illuminas and the ride is excellent. They are totally different on every application like every other spring bc of the sprint/strut combination, along with the type of car, and especially bc every spring has different amounts of drop for each car (4th gen H&R is lower than 5th gen and that's even the same type of car) According to a poll done by a very well respected member on this site, the H&R springs offer the best ride and best handling of any other spring out there for our car. So no, there is no bouncing, just smooth ride with great handling.

good to know, but i stick by my earlier statement. Progress with tokicos. to each there own. also consider the roads and landscape of your area. too much drop might be a bad idea for a lot of places thorughout the country. in florida there isnt **** to worry about like mountains and hills, so the ability to go low is more acceptable. CONSIDER YOUR SURRONDINGS.

don't get me wrong, i'm really happy with my progress/illuminas, but i'd like to have the drop of the s-techs......i might just go ahead and do it to see.
