Ok I have 2hrs reserved at a dyno this Friday. I'm gonna mostly be setting the A/F ratio on the nitrous. But I do have a few other things to do.

What I am thinking about trying is putting a resistor in line with the Intake Air Temp sensor and to see if tricking the ECU into thinking its getting realy cold air will give any more power. Resistors are cheep so why not. This one I am cool with trying.

Where I need some input is here. I want to try the same thing with the ECU's Coolant Temperature Sensor. I know the thermostat begins to open at 180F and is fully open at 194F. But I assume that the ECU needs to see a certain temperature before it comes out of "warm up" mode. Does any one have a clue what temp this might be? I have the chart that shows temp-vs-resistance so I understand that. I just need a few educated guess's as to what tems to try.

These two thing may or may not work, but what the hey, I love to tinker with stuff...

another thing

why not also set up your fans to run off a toggle switch so you can run them all the time for better cooling? good ideas though, i've thought of them myself too.

I freakin found my own answer in the TPS diagnostic section. To test the TPS with the consult computer one of the parameters that must be maintained is that engine temp stays above 158F. So their you have it.

Any other input is still welcome...

my input is this,

Do you have 2 hoses coming out of the bottle? One for the engine, and one for the cabin?
seriously, keep up the good work. It's people that are crazy enough to install stuff most of us only BS about, that let us know what we can do to these things.....

as metioned in the factory manual. the intake air temp sensor is used for diagnostic purposes only, ECU does not uses that signal.
