right now im driving a 91 max a/t and my mechanic told me hey theres someone offering a 92 a/t max with the ve motor in it my question is should i sell my 91 max for this 92 but i know it depends on the condition and work it may need on the car im going to check it out tommarow

I think it depends on the cars. If all things are equal (condition, mileage, etc) and the VE doesn't have horrible VTC clacking, I would definitely go for the 92. One thing to note is that you know what has been done/what needs to be done on your car. The other one is more of a mystery. To paraphrase Forest Gump, "Used cars are like a box of chocolates...you never know what you are going to get."
