just found that there are h&r wheel spacers that allow to mount porsche wheels onto max/240sx etc. Does anybody on the org have porsche wheels installed, how would the look... Pictures?

I havent seen anyone with them, but yet again why would you spend money on that setup. I would imagine the Porsche wheels would be very expensive. You would need the spacers as well so instead of that you can get some volks, work, or advan wheels within the same price range.

 

Porsche wheels rock...i would love to see them on a max, and if you are going to spend a large dollar amount on wheels why not go with something that was designed and made by the best automobile makers period. +1 for the Porshce wheel idea!

1.) Porsche is GREAT, not the best.

2.) If you were going to spend alot of money on wheels you would be a to put wheels that would look stupid and be heavier than aftermarket wheels of the same size.

3) I would rather see a Max with 14 GT-R badges on it.

IMHO 350z/G35 wheels look (from what i've seen) no offence to those how got them/ how do i put it nicely... no so good. Really. Not the wheels per se i mean, but the offset/how they stick out out of fenders. Plain wrong.
So that's what i'm concerned about, how porsche wheels would look installed on this particular car - maxima, not how those wheels look by itself. Besides, I like the idea of having 295/35/18 rubber, well not 295 maybe, for the rear.

Spacers aren't recommended. They put a lot of stress on the lugs and ball joints. If you are gonna shell out some cash, do it right the first time. There is a good reason why Porsche wheels don't fit other cars other than Porsches w/o adapters.

 

Other than the bolt pattern is there another reason?

If the bolt patterns matched and the offsets were good, I'd consider them. Would have to know the weights though.

Audi uses Porsche wheels on their RS4 that was a joint venture inbetween the two.
