i know ive got a flame suit if i need it.

i really want oem fogs in my 99, but theres no way im going to pay 175$ or 200$! im going to go to a junkyard and see if i can find some. what do i need to get? the lights, the bracket, and the stalk? how much should i look to pay?

also, how do i tell if i am prewired? i went and pulled out my bumper lights the other day, and it *looks* like theres a plug on the end of that wire loom that would be for fogs.

im sure i could find the install guide for them, but if someone had it handy and wanted to link it, i would appriciate it. im just going to wire them to come on with the bumper and corner lights, rather than having a separate switch.

Your car is prewired. You need the light stalk with the fog lamp switch, the fog lights and the brackets that bolt them onto the chassis of the car. You might need the relay and a fuse as well.

 

a junk yard actually charges just as much as you could buy them new....i went to a junk yard that has a lot of max's and he said for a driver side fog with bracket he wanted 85$...lol I just walked away laughing .... theres a great oem kit on ebay thats brand new and has everything including bulbs, screws, that little plastic cover thingy that everyone is looking for, etc...

sure its 210 shipped but its brand ne and you get everything!! .. no problem, beautiful clear glass...screws, bulbs, etc.....just install! ... MUCH easier than collecting all the parts !! .. i got used fogs and the glass is all dirty, cant even get it clean
