my 99 max se auto topped out 127. the 5spd se shouldnt have a speed limiter

 

I hope this thread doesnt turn into I went so and so speed in my max

 

I went 210 in first gear, at just under 2000 Rpms.

 

My max @ stock ('96 GLE) topped at around 125ish w/ OD off, when i turned it on, around 135ish. Not quite sure.

 

Top speed is lower if you have a auto

 

142mph in motor trend back in 95.

IIRC, the article stated 143 mph. Tried it out in 1997 to make sure and did all of that and then some in the middle of nowhere in the Interior of British Columbia on a 4-lane divided highway, 25 miles from habitation. My car is a 5-speed with no speed limiter.

 

130mph in my 5speed i30t stock...5th gear of course

 

I havent topped mine out yet, but I have hit about 110...and she was still pulling hard.

 

I pulled on the Millenium Falcon from a roll.

Ive never hit redline in 4th gear (auto) but ive been just under 120 on the speedo (not gonna post an exact speed because at those speeds your gauges are innacurate as hell anyways)!

 

I've hit 132mph in my automatic 95 Max SE, but there was a stop sign ahead, so I didn't want to try going any higher.

 

Please don't recommend people go out there do this. We got enough stupid drivers out on the road as it is.

Also, don't do it anywhere near Philly. There's tons of evo's, and sti's looking for a race and they all drive like idiots.

 

135-140 in my friend's stock auto, it was a '95 or '96.

 

With my old 95 i went pretty far past the 140 mph mark on the speedometer, im guessing about 148....or so(y-pipe/catback/intake/flywheel), i was a young idiot, but it was exhilarating while it lasted....

 

um whats the limited top speed on a stock auto maxima?

 

140 in my auto max. the mods i have are short ram intake, y pipe, and custom b pipe.

 

And you never will ... The gear ratio is far too tall, and tops out (I forget exact #'s) but in the late 100's(170+)

never tried to top it out but went 95 on the highway on accident when a good song came on the radio. I couldnt believe how fast i was going with out meaning too. This was about 2 years ago in my 95 stock se.
