i was thinking about buying the dynamat hoodliner, but im not sure if theres any negatives of having it, the box says it will deflect 97% of the engine heat so where does it go? is that just keeping more heat in the engine, cause if it does thats probly not the best thing right?

I don't think it will do much seeing that we already have a factory hoodliner on our cars already. My wife has an accord with no hoodliner at all, I think it would be better on something like that or maybe a carbon fiber hood. Basically anything with no hoodliner it would probably work better on.
