Calling all sunroof guru's

My sunroof on my '97 does not seem to sit flush with the roof of the car. The front of it does seem to sit flush, the rubber around the glass leaves no gap at all between the glass and the roof. On the rear however, there seems to be a gap of approx. 3-4MM the rubber does not sit flush with the back portion of the roof, and I when the sunroof is completely closed with the tilt option closed, I can by hand move the sunroof up and down in the back approx. 1/4-1/2 an inch. Is this normal??? I'm afraid water might get in there and start messing sh8 up!
